Assault on Windbreak Ridge is the third level in the Battalion Wars campaign.

Intel

The Frontier Radar Array at Windbreak Ridge is being harassed by Tundran Recon vehicles in preparation for a major assault. Support the garrison there until reinforcements arrive!

Eliminate the Tundran units in the first area. Cross the river, and use the Bazooka Vets to take out the incoming Heavy Recons. Arriving in the forest, order the Bazooka Vets into Sentry Mode, and head out for the Gold Star. Lock onto the MG Nests, and send a Rifle Grunt into each of them with the Y-Button. Eliminate the enemies nearby, then return to the river crossing to destroy the Light Recon and 2 Heavy Recons. The Bazooka Vets are fully capable of eliminating the incoming Recons. Return to the Radar Array and help the Rifle Grunts in the MG Nests defend the camp. Next, head back to the river crossing to help the Bazooka Vets take out another 3 enemy Recons. Do not worry about the MG Nests, as Nelly doesn't send a single Bazooka Vet to try to destroy either of them. If you have all of your Grunts near the Radar Array, the enemy Grunts that are air-dropped by the Air Transport. A Frontier Transport Copter will then deliver a Light Tank and 5 Grunts to the camp. Take control of the camp, and drive back to the river. Destroy the two Tundran Light Tanks to complete the mission.
