Drake's Dilemma is the twenty-seventh mission of the Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising campaign, and the third of the Green Earth campaign.

Background

Hawke checks on his soldiers as they prepare the trap for Green Earth’s forces, but orders them to remain cautious despite everything going according to plan.

The mission starts as Drake finds his troops surrounded by enemies on all sides. While he searches for a way to lead them to safety, he receives a message from Eagle reassuring him that Kanbei of Yellow Comet has arrived to offer support. This changes Drake’s plans, leading him to attack the Black Cannons alongside Kanbei in an effort to repel Black Hole’s army.

After the mission, Hawke leaves displeased with the the cannons being destroyed instead of his enemies. Kanbei and Drake exchange greetings and express their hope to fight alongside each other again.
