Ice Station X is the eighteenth level in the Battalion Wars 2 campaign.

Intel

This icy wasteland is wide open, so there are multiple ways to go about the first Primary Objective - eliminating the four Anti-Air Towers.

Lead the Tundran troops south towards the northwest Anti-Air Tower. Drop a few enemy infantry on the way, and destroy the first tower. Take out the Tank patrolling on the water's edge, and continue south. Clear out the Xylvanians from this sector, and demolish the southwest Anti-Air Tower. Head back north, and move east across the bridge. An enemy Light Tank is patrolling near the other end, so send in the Bazooka Vets to take it out. Destroy the MG Tower in the ruined fort, then shoot the Ammo Dump to liberate the POWs. Turn south to destroy the south-central Anti-Air Tower, then head north. Eliminate the Xylvanian Tanks and infantry, then shoot out the final Anti-Air Tower. With the four Anti-Air Towers destroyed, Marshal Nova authorizes Bomber support. Head east and take out the MG Tower guarding the second POW camp, then rescue the prisoners.

Order all other units into Wait Mode, and take control of a Bomber. Bomb the enemy Battlestation into oblivion, and clear the area of Tanks, MG Towers, and RPG Towers. Use the planes to smash through Ubel's "indestructible" Concrete Barricade, clearing the way for Tundra's ground forces. Set both planes to Wait Mode on the north side of the destroyed barricade, because of anti-air units ahead. Switch control to a Light Tank and lead the ground forces to destroy the enemy infantry and MG Towers. The last Primary Objective lies ahead.

On the southern end of the peninsula is Ice Station X, Kaiser Vlad's seismic detection platform. Vlad is hoping to use the seismic data collected here to finally learn the location of the Staff of Qa-Len. There are three Anti-Air Vehicles guarding the structure; send in the Tanks and Bazooka Vets to dispose of them. Just when it looked like the coast was clear, Ubel calls in two Battleships to defend the platform. The strip of land is not very wide, so lead the Tundran ground forces back north to escape the Battleships' range. Jump back into a Bomber and use the two planes to send the ships down into the waves. Turn back to the Ice Station, and rip it apart with the two planes. Mission Complete.
