Liberation is the eighth mission of the Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising campaign. It is final mission for the Orange Star campaign.

Background

Flak mentions that he'll win this time as Adder, the final Black Hole CO the player gets to see, checks up on him. He is there to observe Flak struggle with the last battle, but does not offer any advice whatsoever.

The Orange Star COs wonder what the factory is they encounter on the site, but after a few days they've figured it out. The pipe seam is the weak point that needs to be destroyed in order to halt all unit production from the factory and to secure victory.

When the seam is destroyed, Flak hints at other nations being involved by Black Hole as well. Orange Star prepares for continuation of the war as Flak flees.
