Operation POW is the fourth level in the Battalion Wars campaign.

Intel

Two of our scouts have been taken captive! They have vital knowledge of the location of one of Tundra's key command posts. Get them back behind Frontier lines, and don't spare the horses!

The mission begins with the Frontier forces having only 6 minutes to rescue the scouts. Start off by locking onto the Tundran tank, and ordering your Bazooka Vets to attack. Send the troops inside the enemy fort, take out the guards, and shoot the Ammo Dump to liberate the prisoners. Take control of the Light Recon, and put the pedal to the metal! Roll out of the fort, crash through the barbed wire, and just follow the road to the end — there's no time to waste by attacking Tundran units! Try to avoid hitting enemy units directly, since your Recon's speed will drop quickly as a result; however, you can clip some of the Tundran infantry on your way by, which will increase your Power score if they are defeated.

The Recon will soon reach a fork in the road — both paths lead to the same place; the left is shorter, but the right has fewer enemies. Speed up the snowy hill and take a hard right at the top. Roll down the mountainside, cross the bridge, and drive into the next Tundran fort. Avoid the Gunship, break down the unstable wall, and head out into the trees. The forest can be a little disorienting, but follow the Gold Star as you weave through the trees to reach the open sky again.

Leaving the forest behind, you'll see another Tundran roadblock ahead. Drive straight ahead to climb the embankment, and run off of the edge to get past the squad of Tundrans. Head towards the Frontier camp. The Recon has completed its part of the mission, so take control of the Light Tank. Use your tank and Rifle Grunts to take out the enemy infantry. Blow up the enemy tank with your Bazooka Vets, and take down the Gunship with your Missile Vets to complete the mission.
