The Hunt's End is the twenty-fourth mission of the Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising Campaign, and the last of the Yellow Comet campaign.

Strategy[edit | edit source]

With no Fog of War and no Airports in the near vicinity, both Sensei and Sonja really aren't that useful here. Kanbei's superior defenses takes advantage of the map layout well, making him the best choice for the Yellow Comet CO. As for the other player CO, the choice is not as clear cut. Max is a strong candidate, as his Bombers sport enough firepower to bust Minicannons and Pipe Seams in one attack.

Kanbei's main job is to stall Adder's ground forces at the chokepoint in the bottom center of the map. With his high defenses and the heavy terrain present, his units should be able to hold them off. Build some indirect units like Artillery or Rockets to provide covering fire and assist with the Power score. The other CO should rush to capture the neutral northwestern Airport as soon as possible. From there, the player should build multiple Bombers, as the Pipe Seam is well-protected by several Minicannons. Once the player has amassed a sufficient force of Bombers, aim to destroy the Pipe Seam and the Minicannon guarding it in one turn.
