The Reckoning is the nineteenth and final level in the Battalion Wars 2 campaign. The tundra forces must liberate the Western Frontier and Imperial POWs to unite the Alliance of Nations, and put an end to Kaiser Vlad's plans once and for all!

The final mission begins with the player in control of a tundra Battlestation. This powerful war machine must be preserved at all costs - only it has the power needed to destroy Kaiser Vlad's Mining Spider!  Obliterate the incoming Heavy Tanks, and let the Anti-Air Vets take care of the enemy Gunships. Pick up any available Jerry Cans in order to keep the Battlestation at peak health. After successfully defending the Radar Array, switch control to an Anti-Air Vet and set the others into Wait Mode. Run down the hill, and two xyln Battlestations will emerge from the snowy treeline. Luckily, Marshal Nova sends in his own Gunship attack squadron, so use them to destroy the giant tanks. Switch back to the Battlestation, call all units into Follow Mode, and roll out along the path.

The next clearing holds the southern POW camp, guarded by two more xyln Battlestations. Take out the defensive emplacements from afar with the Battlestation, then send in the Gunships to attack the two tanks. Liberate the POWs to add Gunship and wf Heavy Tank support, uniting the founding members of the Alliance of Nations. Turn east and eliminate the few infantry stationed here, and approach the second clearing.

Inch forward with the Battlestation and blow up the Anti-Air Towers and RPG Towers. Keep the Anti-Air Vets nearby to defend against Gunship attack. If any xyln Gunships are still around, switch to a Gunship to lure the enemy choppers into range of the tundra Anti-Air Vets. Send in the Gunships to destroy the pair of Battlestations, and shoot out the MG Tower guarding the POW camp. Crush the barbed wire to liberate the two Imperial Anti-Air Vehicles, adding the third nation's presence to the Allied forces.

Move to the west, taking out the enemy infantry and RPG Tower along the road. Keep the Anti-Air Vets and Vehicles at the ready to ward off any Gunships, and continue along the path. Roll the Battlestation just close enough to destroy the Anti-Air Tower in the next clearing, then use the Gunship squadron to clear out the MG Towers and two more Battlestations. Liberate the two wf Heavy Tanks to add a final bit of firepower to the Allied forces. The road stretching from here to the Mining Spider is guarded by enemy Heavy Tanks, so send in the Gunships to clear them out. Shoot down the incoming Gunships, and gather the Allied forces just outside the final clearing.

The Mining Spider is defended by Battlestation, Gunship, Fighter, Tank, and infantry support. The next Primary Objective is to destroy the three Generators that power the Mining Spider's shield. It is possible to lure individual enemy units away from the full xyln force with a Gunship, and lead it within range of the other Allied units; however, this method will lower the Speed rating. Clear out as many Xylvanians as possible, and order the Allies to destroy the three Generators. With the shield disabled, Kaiser Vlad calls in a pair of Strato Destroyers to defend his monstrous creation. Just in time, Commander Pierce shows up with a wing of Fighters to oppose the Strato Destroyers. The tundra Battlestation is the only unit powerful enough to damage the Mining Spider, so let the other Allied units deal with the remaining Xylvanians and destroy the machine. Mission Complete!
