The '''Frigate''' is a powerful anti-air vessel, capable of taking down any plane or chopper. It is also one of only two units able to detect and attack submerged enemy [[Submarine]]s, the other being [[Alliance of Nations|Allied]] Submarines. Despite this ability, it is a weak choice when attacking enemy naval units, as the anti-air missiles cannot achieve target-lock at low altitudes. However, its speed usually allows it to flee from harm's way fairly quickly.
