== Description ==
The Recon is a commonly-deployed unit that can handle most infantry on its own.  In [[Battalion Wars (game)|the first Battalion Wars game]], the Recon was split into two subcategories, Light and Heavy.  The Light Recon utilized higher speeds, but the Heavy Recon was equipped with stronger armor and a player-controlled machine gun.  The Recon of [[Battalion Wars 2|the second game]] combines these aspects of the two older units.
