I think that table works better than the one I created anyway, and we could always have the user do the unit type link manually, like type=[[Infantry]]? I definitely think we should use this one instead of mine; that grey background and border is great! ~FireFly ^t_c 15:49, 17 June 2010 (UTC)

Always happy to help. =) I still have some ideas I want to try out with it, but hopefully I can change it over to a template soon. That way, all we'll have to type for all that is {{AW units}} or something. — ^KC 15:59, 17 June 2010 (UTC)

I think you should add something in the lines of "| || colspan="6" style="background: #EFEFEF" | Land" for each "group" of unit (e.g. Land, Water, Air). The problem with that is that it breaks sorting, but maybe we don't even need sortable on the unit tables? By the way, I'll try and get sprites for those other units now, looks strange when half of the files are missing. ~FireFly ^t_c 16:37, 17 June 2010 (UTC)

Also, I think we should keep the system with header/entry/footer templates, since you may want to create a list of units for some other page, and not always the whole set of units for a given game, but the idea with game separate units would be good too (if that was what you meant by {{AW units}}. Also, forgive me for forgetting that the wiki is not only about Advance Wars; they're the only games of the Wars series I've played. Perhaps the way these lists are structured don't fit at all with Battalion Wars? ~FireFly ^t_c 16:42, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
