'''Wings of Victory!''' is the seventeenth mission of the [[Advance Wars]] campaign. It is the first battle where the player fights Eagle on Green Earth soil. This article is on the Sami version of this mission. Despite having the same map, this battle has several differences; fog of war is present and Eagle has a larger force.

==Background==
Before the mission starts Drake says Orange Star is a tough opponent, asking if he doesn't deserve some smooth sailing now and then. Eagle interrupts him on their previous conversation, but Drake says he will have to fight Orange Star himself to test the theory. Eagle agrees, at which point the player gets to choose which route to take.

Sami calls Eagle out, asking him why he keeps harrying them. Eagle recognizes her as Sami, who mentions she's sorry for getting in the way all the time, before asking why he just won't tell. He says it has nothing to do with her before demanding Andy to be brought out. Sami refuses, saying she's in command and telling Eagle he should get by her first if he wants Andy. Eagle then says she shouldn't do this as he won't hold anything back.

Sami tells Eagle to start talking after the battle, as Eagle says he will tell all about it–all about how Andy attacked Green Earth. He will never forget the look on Andy's face during the assault. Sami tells Eagle to stop, telling him Andy could never pull something that complicated off–she even goes as far as saying Andy has his hands full just getting dressed. Eagle concurs, saying it's not a face that shines with intelligence, Sami even goes further saying Andy spends an entire day not thinking of things. Eagle agrees, but still suspects Andy of something, leaving with a threat.
