Lin is a distant and calculating character, who likes an occasional joke at the expense of others. She does have a softer side, and occasionally shares fashion and beauty tips with [[Catleia]].

Lin has great respect for O'Brian, although she often argues with his views, favouring a logical viewpoint against his moral views.

Her relationship with Ed is similar, but due to his lower rank and age she occasionally makes jokes at his expense. Her jokes are not cruel and are usually just playful teasing.
