Lin
Lin is a Commanding Officer in Advance Wars: Dark Conflict from Laurentia, and a member of the Independant Legion. She holds the rank of Lieutenant.
Notably, she has the same name in the European release (Advance Wars: Days of Ruin) and Japanese release (Famicom Wars DS: Ushinauwareta Hikari). In the latter, her name is リン (Rin; Lin). She is the only character in Dark Conflict to have the same name in every release, although Max, Hachi, Rachel and Sasha also use the same names in each language release.
Role
Lin is the second-in-command of the Independant Legion, below O'Brian and later Ed. She acts as the main intelligence gatherer and usually offers Ed and the player tactical advice (occasionally jokes too).
Personality
Lin is a distant and calculating character, who likes an occasional joke at the expense of others. She does have a softer side, and occasionally shares fashion and beauty tips with Catleia.
Relationships
Lin has great respect for O'Brian, although she often argues with his views, favouring a logical viewpoint against his moral views.
Her relationship with Ed is similar, but due to his lower rank and age she occasionally makes jokes at his expense. Her jokes are not cruel and are usually just playful teasing.
She also bonds with Zadia due to their mutual hatrid of Admiral Sigismundo.
Skills
CO Zone: All ground units in the CO Zone get an additional 20% attack and defense. Radius: 1.
CO Power: Night Vision: Ground units get +2 vision, and can see into hiding places without moving directly past them. This power is called Scout in Days of Ruin.
