Before the mission Flak tries to contact the Orange Star troops, but the microphone is not working. As the Black Hole CO is notified of this fact he claims it is too complicated. Despite this, Max is able to hear Flak and wonders what the commotion is about. Flak calls Max a gorilla, to which the Orange Star CO responds by calling his enemy an ape-man. He then asks what Black Hole is doing in Orange Star, at which Flak claims Orange Star belongs to the Black Hole Army and challenges Max. | |||
Nell tells Max to calm down as his temper can get the best of him; he needs to stay cool to win the fight. After convincing him of this fact she gives him some more advice and pointers on his strengths and weaknesses as the battle starts.
