Set in a somber, post-apocalyptic world, the game has a darker atmosphere than those of the previous installments, and has little in common with its predecessors.

Eagle is a Commanding Officer with Green Earth. His debut was in the third mission of Advance Wars (game), with his final appearance during Advance Wars: Dual Strike. He is known for his brash, confident stature, and shows deep pride in his nation's air force which is linked to his great strength with air units.
