Wars Wiki:About
Wars Wiki is an encyclopedia created in February 2009 by the people who run Wars Central, with the sole purpose of making all information regarding the games much easier to access and improve. It is run on the MediaWiki system. With it being a wiki, it allows easy addition and alteration of articles, which we hope will allow us to have the most extensive, in depth range of information for the following games:
- Game Boy Wars
- Famicom Wars
- Advance Wars
- Battalion Wars

Wars Wiki was created and administered by JoJo, with Player1 giving coding assistance.
Dedication
The Wars Wiki Project is dedicated to Shade AKA Matthew Pyke, a webmaster/administrator of Wars Central, who was killed on 19th September 2008.

Wars Wiki is a community-driven Nintendo Wars encyclopedia. As a wiki, it may be read and edited by anyone. Similar in function to Wikipedia, the site focuses only on documenting the Wars series canon.
The wiki was created in February 2009 by JoJo, with coding assistance from Player1. The wiki was later accepted into the Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance on June 5, 2010, becoming the sixth and most recent member.
