Game Boy Wars is a subseries of games in the Nintendo Wars series. It began in 1990 with the release of the original Game Boy Wars, and had grown to include a total of four games (with one special Famitsu variation for Game Boy Wars TURBO), all of which were released only in Japan. The series came to a close with the release of Game Boy Wars 3 in 2001.
