'''Lazuria''' is one of the two major countries in ''[[Advance Wars: Days of Ruin]]''. Lazuria and [[Rubinelle]] have been at war with each other for a long time. Lazuria is the lesser known of the two countries since the majority of the forces in ''Days of Ruin'' are from Rubinelle.

==Military==

The Lazurian Military is a very strong military. Unlike Rubinelle [[Commanding Officer|COs]] who are high-ranked soldiers that hate Lazuria, Lazurian COs seem to be more varied. For example, [[General Forsythe]] is a man who values honor over other things in war, [[Tasha]] is bent on revenge against Rubinelle, and [[Gage]] is a man who serves his higher-ups without question. Also, unlike Rubinelle, the Lazurian Military did not deteriorate when the meteor struck; instead Forsythe came out of retirement and supposedly attacked Rubinelle first, while [[Greyfield]] had to go and collect the many battalions and soldiers to form the [[New Rubinelle Army]]. The Lazurian Military is currently run by Gage and Tasha who have integrated with [[12th Battalion]] and defeated the New Rubinelle Army, and later the [[Intelligent Defense Systems]]. It is clear that the Lazurian government was secretly getting superweapons from IDS before the meteors, but Forsythe refused [[Caulder]]'s offers afterwards.
