Lazuria is one of the two major countries in Advance Wars: Days of Ruin. Lazuria and Rubinelle have been at war with each other for a long time. Lazuria is the lesser known of the two countries since the majority of the forces in Days of Ruin are from Rubinelle.

Military

The Lazurian Military is a very strong military. Unlike Rubinelle COs who are high-ranked soldiers that hate Lazuria, Lazurian COs seem to be more varied. For example, General Forsythe is a man who values honor over other things in war, Tasha is bent on revenge against Rubinelle, and Gage is a man who serves his higher-ups without question. Also, unlike Rubinelle, the Lazurian Military did not deteriorate when the meteor struck; instead Forsythe came out of retirement and supposedly attacked Rubinelle first, while Greyfield had to go and collect the many battalions and soldiers to form the New Rubinelle Army. The Lazurian Military is currently run by Gage and Tasha who have integrated with 12th Battalion and defeated the New Rubinelle Army, and later the Intelligent Defense Systems. It is clear that the Lazurian government was secretly getting superweapons from IDS before the meteors, but Forsythe refused Caulder's offers afterwards.
