Naval Clash! (Sami)

Naval Clash! is the sixteenth mission of the Advance Wars campaign. It is the second battle where you fight Drake. This article is on the Sami version of this mission. If you choose Sami for all three Drake missions you will unlock Eagle for The Final Battle!, as well unlocking the secret mission Rivals! and making him available for purchase in Battle Maps after clearing the campaign.

Background

Before the mission starts Drake mentions it (Captain Drake!) was a rough battle. Eagle once again urges Drake to move, but the latter tells him Orange Star did not attack Green Earth, finally informing the player what Eagle's grudge against Andy is. He also mentions the entire conflict was orchestrated, and to test his theory he should fight Orange Star again.

Nell calls, telling Sami to protect the Landers- she acknowledges this as Andy asks the advisor if he noticed Sami acting all serious around Nell. Sami promptly tells Andy he's playing with fire as the latter lays low for a bit.

Drake withdraws after being defeated.

The next mission is Wings of Victory!.
