Mr. Yamamoto is a freelance Commanding Officer in Super Famicom Wars. He is a legendary general who commands an elite army.
Skills[edit | edit source]
Mr. Yamamoto is a very powerful, if not the ultimate, CO in the game. All his units start at rank 2, even when Level Up mode is not enabled. He has at minimum 140% firepower for all his units. This gives him a big advantage of having more powerful troops than his opponents.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The old officer on the Game Boy Wars back cover bears a strikingly similar appearance to Mr. Yamamoto.[1]
- In the Japanese localization of the Advance Wars titles, Sensei's name is Yamamoto; when the character is introduced in the Japanese version of Advance Wars 2, Kanbei/Kikuchiyo refers to him as "Yamamoto-sensei". In Sensei's younger days, he had a reputation as an unbeatable CO. This implies that Sensei may be Mr. Yamamoto.
