Description
Description
The Dreadnought is the strongest naval unit in the Battalion Wars universe.  Heavily armored and armed to the teeth, this ship can destroy all ground units and even most naval units with ease.  The best way to eliminate an enemy Dreadnought is with a manual Battleship, a Submarine, or an air unit. The ship is slow enough that prolonged anti-ship combat will sink it, and cannot target-lock a submerged Sub; and while it has anti-air fire, Gunship or Bomber attack is still sufficient to take it out.  It is best to keep the Dreadnought near an escort of Frigates, as these ships can silence both submerged and airborne threats.

* The Anglo Isles do not have a Dreadnought, despite the fact that it's real-world counterpart, the UK, was the country which coined the term 'dreadnought', with the HMS Dreadnought.
* The Tundran Dreadnought is called the TTS Potemkin. The Potemkin was a real Russian battleship whose crew mutinied in 1905. This event is often credited as being a step toward the Russian Revolution of 1917.
