Stubs are identified by the stub template. Articles flagged as stubs are typically short, and in much need of improvement. Generally, a "good" stub should give the reader the gist of the article, but is not yet fleshed out enough to have the stub flag removed. However, they should be well on the way to no longer being considered a stub. For example, this article is classed as a stub.
