Apparently Olaf has decided to take Orange Star seriously, but as the other COs are all caught up in other campaigns it is up to the player to defend Orange Star from him. Nell states that Olaf has his bases covered, considering only two tank units have survived of the original contingent that had been sent to the Lost Fortress. However, these units have been damaged and the player is needed to withdraw them first in order to repair them. A turn into the battle it becomes apparent that this is not quick enough, and that the player has to join his or her two tanks. Afterwards Nell will leave the rest of the battle to the player, but does tell the player the area is vital to Orange Star's strategy after obtaining victory.
