Max's Folly?

Sports Maxx's Folly? is the fifth mission of the Advance Wars campaign. It is the first mission on foreign soil, as the Orange Star army moves into Blue Moon territory.

Background

At the start of the mission Andy, Sports Maxx and the advisor encounter Grit. Sports Maxx expresses his surprise at seeing Grit in the Blue Moon army, which Grit dismisses as 'things happen'. He proceeds to provoke Sports Maxx, causing the latter to take command in the mission. He laments being surrounded by Grit's, as it causes the predicament of either being blown away or having his HQ captured.

After the mission Grit tells Sports Maxx he should have used indirect combat units more, and tells Sports Maxx to give Andy a break; Sports Maxx gives in, and apologises for being a jerk to Andy. The latter tries to gets Grit's attention, but the Blue Moon CO leaves shortly afterwards.

The next mission is Olaf's Navy.
