Colonel Windsor is the commander of the Anglo military, and one of the protagonists of Battalion Wars 2.

Background

Colonel Windsor is in charge of the Anglo Isles' military, the nation itself only introduced in Battalion Wars 2. His second-in-command is Commander Pierce, an accomplished fighter pilot. Windsor is a skilled tactician, but tends to considered wartime events frivolous, as if it was nothing more than a schoolyard fight.
Despite this, he is greatly respected by both his troops and Commander Pierce. He also appears to be mildly xenophobic and has a slight disdain for foreigners.

In Battalion Wars

This officer did not appear in Battalion Wars.

In Battalion Wars 2

It is Windsor who is responsible for the pre-emptive strike against the Solar Empire, believing that Anglo military intelligence is second to none. What his intelligence program did not know was that it was merely a false rumor started by Kaiser Vlad, hoping to distract the world with war so that he could search the Tundran Territories for the real Staff of Qa-Len. After realizing this, and defeating the Solar counterattack, the Anglo Isles joined the re-formed Alliance of Nations to pursue Vlad and the Xylvanians.

Trivia

• Colonel Windsor claims to be a descendant of the people who built the stone monument in the mission "Their Finest Hour", which resembles England's Stonehenge.
• Due to the fact that he has a monument dedicated to him, he is likely considered a successful military tactician.
