Egg Islands, clearly based off the largest English-speaking countries in Oceania[1], is a relatively large battle map that puts Orange Star[2] in a relatively complex starting position due to the lower starting income and complicated logistics.

Basic information

When it comes to missing landmass areas, the clearest offender is the Australian territory of Tasmania[3], which would've been located just south of the easternmost port in the Australian island if it were to appear.

Blue Moon[4] starts off controlling almost all of what can be called Australia, while Orange Star starts off taking up all of New Zealand's North Island and owning two cities in the South Island.

Possible tactics

Due to the relative proximity to an Orange Star port, it may seem feasible to swiftly take over the north-easternmost port and land base to begin a regular invasion. The financial conditions required for this, however, can only be achieved by a small number of COs, such as Sasha [5]and Colin[6]. Furthermore, the central and easternmost land bases will quickly fall into Blue Moon hands, through which any invading force will quickly be neutralised.

The Southern island of New Zealand can be taken with ease, which will give Orange Star the financial advantage in the long run, as the expensive logistics now turn into a Blue Moon problem.

As the defense of New Zealand continues and Blue Moon's funds run dry, a pincer movement can be applied in the eastern half of Australia, or a quick invasion force can be sent to Australia's southern beach in order to take the headquarters[7], which will most likely be left undefended as most funds will be spent on indirect attack units such as Rockets [8]and Battleships[9].
