A Storm Brews is the eleventh mission of Advance Wars: Days of Ruin. It is the second mission in the campaign where the player fights against Lazuria.

Plot

While looking for survivors, a small unit of the 12th Battalion came across a heated battle between CO Davis and the Lazurian forces. Realizing that Davis' forces had been nearly destroyed, the group moved in to change the tide of the battle.

General Strategy

Your allies have a weak force, so make sure to protect them as much as possible. As soon as the mission starts, load up your transports (including gunboats) and send them over to the peninsula across from you. Use your medium tank to stop Lazurian forces from overwhelming your position and use your gunboats to take the enemy out of the water, being careful to use the nearby rig to reload after each volley. Your Rockets will be of great assistance to both tasks. After this is done, wipe the remaining enemies off the map or capture the HQ to secure victory.
