Greyfield Strikes is the thirteenth mission of Advance Wars: Days of Ruin. Upon completing this mission, Gage is unlocked as a playable CO in Free Battle and multiplayer.

Plot

Will tries to communicate with the enemy asking why they are still fighting in the war with no government, but they ignore him and battle anyways. Greyfield tests the 12th Battalion's strength by randomly ordering all units of a specific type to stay out of the battle for a turn. Meanwhile, the enemy has a prepared force in wait.

General Strategy

Build up a navy and send out your infantry to capture properties, starting with the island just to your northwest. Use rigs to build temporary ports if needed, as they can be invaluable to keeping your fleet in good conditions. Eliminate all enemy sea strength as soon as possible, and once this is accomplished, build more battleships to bombard the coast. Seaplanes can be helpful, but be careful they don't get caught unable to move with low fuel. Once you have taken all the minor islands, begin a full-fledged invasion of Lazurian territory. Destroy all units or take the HQ in the corner to clear the map.

Greyfield's Orders

Every fourth day, Greyfield will force a random type of unit to halt for the day. This unit is announced the day prior and has a bias towards ships, but ground units may occasionally be affected. These orders will continue until the end of the mission, even if Greyfield's own forces are wiped out.
