The Great Owl^{(Days of Ruin)}, or Pulsatrix Assault^{(Dark Conflict)}, is the twenty-second mission of Advance Wars: Days of Ruin. It features the titular Great Owl as a mechanic in the mission.

Walkthrough

The center of the map is continuously bombed by the Great Owl, dealing 5 damage within the center 25 tiles. The Great Owl will only bomb the map center, even if Penny's own units are inside.

In-Depth

The Great Owl will bombard the screen at the beginning of each day, centered on the middlemost ruins tile. This has a range of 3, and deals 5 HP of damage to any unit that enters at the beginning of each day. Penny's units will generally avoid this area, but will still cross into it fairly often, especially if baited into it.
