Gunships of the Desert is the tenth level in the Battalion Wars campaign.

Intel

We must cut the supply of Nerocite that is fueling the Xylvanian war effort. To capture the Nerocite extraction facility at Hot Flats, we need to strip away the air cover provided by the Gunships stationed at the nearby Aerodrome.

Start off by taking control of a Missile Vet and ordering the other units into Follow Mode. Take out as many of the grounded Gunships as possible, then switch to the Recon and jump the bridge over the river.

After meeting up with the Frontier tanks and Gunship, wait for the Missile Vets to catch up, and order everyone into Sentry Mode. Take control of the Gunship and eliminate the nearby Rocket Troopers and Heavy Tank. Set the other units into Follow Mode, take control of a tank, and set the Gunship into Sentry Mode. Meet up with a Frontier Air Transport to receive additional infantry, and destroy the tanks and Anti-Air Vehicles near the bridge.

Cross the bridge and destroy the MG Bunker, and order the Missile Vets to take out any nearby Gunships. Blow up the enemy Anti-Air Vehicles, and order the Missile Vets to capture the three flags. Take control of the Gunship to monitor the enemy positions, and launch an aerial assault against anything that gets too close. The mission is complete once the Frontier has captured the three flags.
