Black Gold is the eleventh level in the Battalion Wars campaign.

Intel

If we are to halt the Xylvanians' relentless advance, we must destroy their primary Nerocite extraction facility. The only sure way to topple those Extraction Towers is from the air. Clear a path through the anti-air defences and pilot your Bombers to victory!

This mission is split into two parts. First, you'll need to destroy the Searchlights and the anti-air units to clear the way for your Bombers; second, use your Bombers to destroy the three Nerocite Extraction Towers.

Take control of one of the Gunships, and have the other follow you. Fly along the road, and destroy the infantry and the Heavy Tank. Call in the other units, and order them into Sentry Mode once they reach the fork in the road. Move ahead and take out the first three anti-air encampments, and destroy the three Searchlights. Pass by the first Extraction Tower, and cross the bridge over the river. Destroy the two Heavy Tanks and Mini-Guns with your Gunships, then use your infantry to destroy the final two Searchlights. This enables the Western Frontier to send in Bomber support.

Set all units except the other Bomber into Sentry Mode, and bomb the first Extraction Tower into oblivion. Move on to the second tower, and dodge the enemy planes while Tsar Gorgi's personal Fighters defend your Bombers. Destroy the other two towers to complete the mission.
