The Munitions Expert is a non-playable unit first seen in the Solar Empire level, "Showdown at Big Honshu", where they are used to destroy Anglo Missiles Silos. They are later seen on the Tundran Territories level, "Operation Nautilus", where they are used to destroy a fleet of Xylvanian Dreadnoughts moored outside of Novagrad.

Munitions Experts appear in Battalion Wars 2 only as uncontrollable units. Although you can indirectly control one in "Showdown at Big Honshu" when a munitions expert joins the player in a Recon and must be taken to three Anglo Missile Silos. The Munitions Expert is then flown away by an Air Transport once the Silos are destroyed and the player reaches the extraction point. During "Operation Natlius" you must complete the Mission by activating a Helipad to summon a team of Tundran Munitions Experts to destroy a fleet of Xylvanian Dreadnoughts.
