Before the mission begins, a [[Black Hole]] soldier mentions that [[Orange Star]] forces have been sighted, to which [[Flak]] responds by sending out the [[Tank]]s while engaging in a monologue that portrays him as a fan of the unit.

An Orange Star soldier mentions that enemy units have been spotted on the far side of the river, which surprises [[Sami]] as the area is so rural. She still orders a counter-attack, as Black Hole can't be allowed to gain a foothold so deep into Orange Star territory. [[Nell]] praises the move, saying it is a good assessment that shows Sami's qualities as a special-forces commander. Nell says she's there to track down the COs who are invading Orange Star, and leaves the battle to her subordinate.
