Lash Out is the fifth mission of the Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising campaign. In it you play as Sami for the second time. It is the first mission where you get to face a new Black Hole CO, Lash.

Background

Sami has gathered some intel that Black Hole is a little further ahead, though Nell is doubting it. Sami wonders whether Flak is able to set a trap, after which Nell caves in, recognising he can't.

Lash opens by telling them that Flak didn't set a trap, but that she did instead before asking whether the 'grandma' wants to play with her at which point the mission starts. She tells them they have a week before Flak's troops arrive, which is the time limit for the mission.

After the mission Nell likes to talk to Lash again, but the Black Hole CO left a dummy and has already left.
