Sniper! is the fifth mission of the Advance Wars campaign. It is the first mission on foreign soil, as the Orange Star army moves into Blue Moon territory. It is also the first mission outside Field Training with Fog of War.

Background

At the start of the mission a conversation on Fog of War arises, where Andy has Max instruct him on its effects, before warning him off the dangers.

After the mission Grit starts a conversation with Max and Andy, causing Max to call Grit a traitor. The Blue Moon CO says he had his reasons, leaving before Max can say anything else.

The next mission is Blizzard Battle!.
