At the start of the mission Andy, Max and the advisor encounter Grit. Max expresses his surprise at seeing Grit in the [[Blue Moon]] army, which Grit dismisses as 'things happen'. He proceeds to provoke Max, causing the latter to take command in the mission. He laments being surrounded by Grit's, as it causes the predicament of either being blown away or having his HQ captured.
